Harrods

Trusted digital partner for the most famous department store in the world. We spent five years as retained digital partner for Harrods lifestyle and publishing arm.

Throughout our partnership, we managed Harrods' online lifestyle magazine, developed and managed the global Harrods app, and created brand partnership campaigns, games, and creative add-ons.

In 2018 we launched a 'world-first' indoor store guide (think Google Maps for a giant department store).

Utilising almost 2,000 beacons and using cutting edge bluetooth and NFC tech.

Harrods is a notoriously difficult store to navigate due to its size and constantly rotating departments and points of interest due to revolving brands and seasonal adjustments.

The store guide allows customers to navigate around the frankly enormous five acre floorspace, easily locating departments, brands and points of interest.

We developed a flexible content management system allowing the app and digital magazine to be maintained with ease, and integrated features such as loyalty programmes and AR shoppable sections.

An addictive game was created within the app as a brand partnership between Harrods and the Sony Pictures movie Peter Rabbit, which was largely set in the department store.

As part of our long standing partnership with Harrods, we created an addictive Peter Rabbit brand partnership game launched within their global app.
